Be “Fearless”

When Diane Keaton turned 60 this past January, she posted a blog on The Huffington Post entitled “The Upside of Turning 60.”¬† Her greatest¬†insight on this milestone celebration?¬† “There is great value in being fearless.¬† For too much of my life, I was too afraid, too frightened by it all.¬† That fear is one of my biggest regrets.”

What wonderful wisdom from one of my favorite actresses.  At some point experience shows us that we can take chances, reach out for new adventures, attempt to climb the mountain.  The worst that happens?  We fail to reach the goal.  But think of the experience of the trying.  Those experiences make us stronger, and yes, even wiser.

Keaton adds, “A sense of freedom is something that, happily, comes with age and life experience.”

So Minervas – Be Free – Be Fearless – Be Wonderful!
