“Feelin’ Good” at Clark

There’s streamers, confetti, feather boas and fedoras, synchornized swimmers and a jazz band, prune juice and Depends, gambling and smooching – all with a troupe of 100 seniors lipsynching to Michael Buble’s “Feelin’ Good.” That’s just a snippet of the fun taking place in the new YouTube sensation from the Clark Retirement Community in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The broadway-bound stars were featured on “The Today Show” this morning and have been interviewed for a segment expected to air on “Inside Edition” either tonight (7/14) or tomorrow.

The marketing folks at Clark should all be singing and dancing with the wonderful exposure their residents are generating. Hopefully, they’ll have martinis and champagne to celebrate.

According to an article in the Grand Rapid Press, the almost-six-minute video required a three-hour shoot and eight takes on top of hours of practice by the featured stars. The effort paid off. The cast is smooth, smiling, debonair, and wonderfully entertaining. I can’t wait for the next installment!
