Murdoch Mystery Lady in Gray

Rupert Murdoch has been in the hot seat dealing with Parliament’s questions on the phone-hacking and bribery scandal at News Corp.  However, yesterday, as the world’s cameras were watching, his wife, Wendi, sitting over his shoulder in a bright pink jacket (great for cameras), became the star as she pounced on the Pie-in-The-Face guy threatening her husband.

Kudos to Wendi Murdoch.  Her lightening quick reflexes and action left adjacent police officers dumbfounded.

My question, though, is – How’s the woman in the gray suit that she knocked to the ground in the process?  The Lady in Gray had also jumped up to intercede – actually beating Whirling Wendi to the table – and was then the victim of Wendi’s athletic pounce.  No one seems concerned about her well-being and she certainly has not received any recognition for her “first-responder” effort to help.

The moral of the story seems to be – Hot Pink beats out Gray. Ladies in Gray apparently are invisible no matter how valiant their efforts.

Got to go shopping.  Hot Pink it is!
