The Divine Miss M certainly stays busy as she celebrated her 67th birthday with a hit Broadway show, I’ll Eat You Last: A Chat With Sue Mengers, being performed in Los Angeles during December.  The award-winning singer/song-writer, actress, film producer, entrepreneur and environmentalist, also recently announced a future HBO production in which she will portray the incomparable Mae West.

Not as well-known as her musical accomplishments is her long-standing charity work to revitalize neglected parks in New York’s disadvantaged neighborhoods. Her New York Restoration Project works with community groups and volunteers to reclaim more than 60 blighted areas creating gardens and recreational areas.

It’s hard to pick a favorite Bette song – “Wind Beneath My Wings,” “The Rose,” or “From A Distance.” And how do you choose your favorite Bette movie? The Rose, First Wives Club, Outrageous Fortune – they’re all winners on my list.

So Happy 67th Miss M.  You become even more Divine with time.
